Three generations of patient hands in the soil.
Taylor Family Vineyards began when grandfather Robert planted his first vine in the rolling hills above Silverado Trail — not for profit, but because he believed the land had something to say, and someone needed to listen.
Today, his grandchildren continue that conversation. Each vintage is a response to what the season offered: the rain that came early, the heat wave in August, the cool morning fog that lingered just long enough. We don't force the wine. We let it become what it wants to be.
That philosophy means slower harvests, smaller yields, and bottles that carry a sense of place most commercial vineyards have forgotten how to express.
